Sat Nam. The very first mantra I learned after attending my first Kundalini Yoga class. Sat Nam. A reminder that “truth is my name…truth is my identity.” Sat Nam. A mantra that acknowledges that the ‘Great Mystery’ is simply who we are. Sat Nam. A gift and a path that – Nancy Zabaneh has opened up for me, and many others, to experience. Alexandra Trenfor said that “the best teachers are those who show you where to look, but don’t tell you what to see.” When someone is telling you what to see, you aren’t being taught to think, you are being told what to think. But if someone holds the space for you to be able to observe closely and to feel safe in having a unique experience, a sense of curiosity ignites and it becomes a powerful force that can nourish a certain longing. Our dearest Nancy Zabaneh holds that kind of space. Nancy Zabaneh is a true teacher. She is committed to the practice, and has made it a mission to share her passion for Kundalini Yoga. She walks in grace, and you feel that every time you attend her class. I credit her for inspiring me to learn more about Kundalini Yoga and to seek my own personal yoga journey. She is a beautiful soul and a wonderful channel of this sacred practice.”
