about me

Nancy Zabaneh is a Dubai-based Canadian of Arab origin whose mission is to expand health and wellbeing beyond the individual, weaving it into communities and systems where it is most needed. A wellbeing educator and trauma-informed facilitator, she supports individuals, leaders, and organizations in designing lives of balance, resilience, and purpose.

Before dedicating her life to this path, Nancy spent nearly a decade working across banking, corporate strategy, and public affairs with some of the GCC’s most prominent institutions. A profound personal turning point then redirected her toward the field of human development, drawing her to transpersonal psychology, Kundalini Yoga, and trauma-informed care; foundations that continue to shape and inspire her work today.

She is a practitioner and advocate of Compassionate Inquiry®, the psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté, and serves as its Arab Country Coordinator. In 2017, she launched Darshan, a platform pioneering Kundalini Yoga teacher trainings and community learning. She also contributes to the Beyond Addiction program in the Arab world and India, supporting people in cultivating healthier habits and transforming addictive patterns.

Nancy’s work spans corporate workshops, retreats, and community gatherings worldwide. She holds the conviction that the world is our ashram; where growth and healing are not confined to a mat, a therapy room, or a retreat, but become the way we live, lead, and connect every day.
